The A2 MechShop was pleased to host Sharon Que as our 2nd Artist in Residence.

In addition to being a sculptor Sharon owns her own business  violin restoration and repair sharonque.com.

There has been good chemistry so far between Sharon and the MechShop crew and we were lucky to have her on board.

Sharon Que

Beauty alone is not the catalyst for great art.

Most of my perceiving of content comes to me in three ways, through the listening of music, working and walking. As understanding is taking place in the brain, it is the hinting at large structures, the essence of order, that resonate and drive me. When art is comprehended it is not an ordinary experience the comprehension pushes me beyond what my everyday life has to offer. Small moments of ecstasy congeal, build a structure around me and momentarily transcend.
